Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to DIMA KONTAR. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi DIMA, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.
I developed my ability to take risks by learning to trust myself through experience. Motherhood, career pivots, and stepping into the public space of content creation all required me to act before everything felt perfectly secure. Over time, I realized that waiting for certainty often meant missing opportunities. Each risk—whether it worked or not—built confidence, clarity, and resilience. I learned that growth lives on the other side of comfort, and that even setbacks carry valuable lessons that move you forward

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Hi, I’m Dima Kontar—a content creator, mom, and lifestyle influencer focused on lifestyle, beauty, self-care, and travel. I create relatable, elevated content that blends everyday motherhood with personal style, wellness routines, and real-life moments, showing that balance and confidence are built through intentional choices. What makes my page unique is its authenticity: I share both the curated highlights and the unfiltered reality, helping my community feel inspired yet grounded.
In addition to digital content, I’m actively involved in in-person promotion and marketing events, collaborating with brands through experiential activations, launches, and community-focused experiences. Right now, I’m focused on expanding meaningful partnerships, growing my platform with purpose, and continuing to create content and real-world connections that empower women to invest in themselves while navigating busy, full lives.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are resilience, adaptability, and authentic storytelling.
Resilience helped me navigate setbacks and keep moving forward even when things felt uncertain. My advice: embrace challenges as opportunities to grow, and don’t fear failure—it’s often the best teacher.
Adaptability allowed me to pivot between motherhood, content creation, and brand partnerships while keeping my vision intact. My advice: stay curious, experiment, and be willing to adjust your approach when things change.
Authentic storytelling built trust with my audience and set my brand apart. My advice: know your voice and values, share real experiences, and don’t shy away from vulnerability—it’s what connects people most.
For anyone starting out, focus on small daily actions that strengthen these areas: reflect on challenges, practice flexibility, and share your story consistently. Growth comes from persistence, self-awareness, and showing up even when it feels hard.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
If I knew I only had ten years left, I would spend that decade fully present with the people I love—my kids, family, and close friends—making memories that matter over things that don’t. I’d travel to places that inspire me, prioritize self-care and personal growth, and dedicate time to projects that feel meaningful rather than just profitable. I’d let go of distractions, fear, and unnecessary obligations, focusing instead on connection, joy, and leaving a positive impact that outlives me. Every day would be about intention, love, and living without regret.
