Story & Lesson Highlights with Ricky305 Riccardo Alessandrin of Venice, Italy

We recently had the chance to connect with Ricky305 Riccardo Alessandrin and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Riccardo , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My first 90 minutes of a work day: well, waking up early, having a hearty breakfast, obviously washing and changing, and off to work.
After that, getting to work and always giving it my all

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
A huge shout out to all of you readers, and it’s a great honor to collaborate with Bold Journey Magazine again.
Let me introduce myself, I’m Ricky305, aka Riccardo Alessandrin. I’m a hardworking Italian man with a huge passion for music. I embarked on this DJ journey both because of my passion for music, which began in high school, and for personal redemption, given what’s been done to me in my life, as many of you know.
I’ve had many difficult moments, not just physically but also mentally, but lately I’ve been trying to find a positive attitude and overcome this negativity, thanks also to a special person who is fundamental to me, and all the friends I’ve made recently.
My music certainly wants to be different, not follow “trends,” but rather be something new and try to change the lives of the people who listen to me.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
Unfortunately, as a child, I suffered a lot, and I thought I was the problem, different from everyone else, and never able to do anything in life. But there’s always been a part of me that has and continues to fight and never gives up.
To this day, I’m still amazed at how much progress I’ve made thanks to people who have always told me I’m just like everyone else, even better than everyone else. Through music, I want to try to change life or situations from negative to positive and to never give up. Well, I learned this lesson from my idol Pitbull, whom I consider not only an international artist but above all a great person. Of course, I also thank a special person; she made me realize that I’m a truly extraordinary guy who, despite everything I’ve been through, has managed not to give up.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Honestly, there have been some really bad times lately too, but there’s always that part of me that never wants to give up, and the support of the people around you is also very important.
If you have people that support you, you have a big energy of make change in this negative moment, as Is for me

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
When I make an album, single, or remix, I’ve learned lately that I shouldn’t think only about myself liking it, but also about how the people who listen to my work will like it.
It takes a lot of study, commitment, hard work, conviction, and a lot of patience and passion. If you don’t have these “foundations,” your work certainly won’t be good. I’ll tell you about an episode when I made “Que Sigue La Fiesta (Album),” my first album with Spanish sounds. It took me a whole year to make it different and engaging, and even today, this album is my most viewed first album so far. Another episode that changed my perspective on making music was thanks to the advice of a special person (who for me is a truly extraordinary person). She listened to some of my songs and said, “Look, they’re great, but you have to think about not just how you like them, but also how the people who listen to you should like them.” From there, I changed my mind and am seeing better results.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
As I always say, sincerity is a reflection of the person who has lived.
Well, honestly, I’m telling you about myself, about a person who suffered a lot in his life and withdrew from himself for many years, but managed to emerge from that shell of insecurity and fear of other people’s judgment and faced life differently, reaching out to many more people, even geographically distant, but bringing them closer to him. Then, with his music, he always expressed himself throughout every stage of his life, right up to the end.
