We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Mitchell Bienvenue. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Mitchell below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Mitchell with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
A work ethic is a learned behavior. I wholeheartedly owe my work ethic to my incredible parents. Throughout my life, I have been inspired and influenced by the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of both my mom and dad. They are the hardest working people I know, and their relentless commitment to providing for our family has left a profound impact on me. From an early age, I witnessed my parents’ work ethic firsthand as they poured their heart and soul into their respective endeavors. Seeing their dedication and the results it yielded, I instinctively understood the importance of hard work and the value it brings to one’s life. Their example taught me that success is not solely about talent or luck but is rather an outcome of consistent effort, resilience, and a never-give-up attitude. As I pursued my creative journey, I embraced the work ethic instilled in me by my parents. It’s their guidance that has empowered me to push through challenges, to stay focused on my goals, and to continuously improve my craft. Their unwavering support has been the driving force behind my dedication to my work, and I strive to make them proud through my creative endeavors. I am forever grateful for the gift of a remarkable work ethic passed down to me, and I am excited to share my creative journey with the world, hoping to inspire others to embrace hard work and pursue their passions with the same tenacity that my parents have shown me.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
As a photographer and content creator with a decade of experience, my journey has been nothing short of thrilling. Over the years, I’ve managed to build a significant following, and it all began in 2019 when I embarked on a life-changing adventure as a yacht deckhand in Fort Lauderdale, documenting my travels across the Caribbean, Bahamas, and the Northeast United States. That experience allowed me to capture breathtaking moments and share them with my audience, making my social media presence take off. In 2020, life led me back to Ohio, where I continued my creative journey, this time focusing on showcasing the beauty of Ohio and the resilience required while living with Ulcerative Colitis. Through TikTok, I started creating content that celebrated the joys of living in Ohio and the importance of finding joy in the little things, no matter where you are. What’s most exciting and special about my work is the opportunity to collaborate with incredible brands and businesses to promote their offerings to my engaged social media following. By aligning with companies that share my values, I can authentically endorse products and experiences that resonate with my audience. Beyond brand partnerships, I also use my platform to spread awareness about Ulcerative Colitis, shedding light on an important health issue close to my heart. Collaborating with different organizations, I strive to educate and inspire others, showing that even amidst challenges, one can find joy and live life to the fullest. Moving forward, my goal is to continue growing on social media and working with companies that align with my niche and my message. I aim to inspire my audience to take full advantage of their surroundings and appreciate what they have right where they are. Whether it’s exploring local gems, discovering hidden treasures, or finding moments of joy in everyday life, I want to encourage others to embrace a positive outlook and seize every opportunity for enjoyment. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me, and I’m eager to connect with more like-minded individuals and businesses who share the vision of spreading happiness, appreciation, and gratitude for the little things in life.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three most impactful qualities in my journey have been work ethic and consistency, networking and relationship building, and a willingness to learn and adapt. My advice for those starting is to prioritize discipline over motivation, build genuine connections with others, and embrace a growth mindset to stay relevant and innovative. Remember, every creative journey is unique, so stay true to yourself and enjoy the ride!

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was raising me with a solid foundation of values and traits that have shaped who I am today. They instilled in me a strong work ethic, teaching me the importance of dedication and perseverance in achieving my goals. Witnessing their hard work and determination inspired me to approach every aspect of my life with the same commitment.

Moreover, my parents raised me with a kind and caring heart, showing me the value of empathy and compassion towards others. They taught me to be considerate and understanding, which has made a significant impact on my relationships with people around me and my approach to creative work.

Another vital aspect of their parenting was nurturing a common-sense mind within me. They encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving, which has proven invaluable in navigating life’s challenges and making well-informed decisions.

Overall, the way my parents raised me has been the cornerstone of my personal and professional growth. Their guidance and support have equipped me with essential qualities and values that continue to shape my journey as a creative and a person. I will forever be grateful for the impactful foundation they provided, and I strive to carry those values forward in everything I do.
