Willie, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
Soul Keeps his creativity alive by staying authentic and true to himself . Whenever he gets a hint of an Idea its time to write and record or arrange.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Willie Soul is a Jazz/ R&B / Soul Artist. His artistic career consists of live performances around the globe and recording music. What’s special and exciting about Soul’s journey is his audience and fans feeling the Soul in his performances. Expecting a vibe and feeling like none other every time he hits the stage or in the studio recording. Creating magic every moment on every stage and in every studio is special and exciting.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back Soul believes authenticity, relationships, passion, and tenacity were the most impactful in his journey thus far. Soul believes the best advice for folks who are early in their journey is building, molding & keeping positive relationships. Maintaining great relationships with those in alike industries can take you a long way. Relationships can sometimes overpower resumes, auditions, and interviews. It can put you in rooms or stages you could never imagine. Keeping the relationship is key. A lot of people build relationships with individuals but don’t maintain them. Also being authentic is critical. No one can ever beat you at being you. In other words, you are unique and wonderfully made. It’s ok to have influences but that’s what made them who they are; they were being their real self. Sometimes it takes time to tap into that area of discovering what makes you unique but once you discover it, that’s where the magic is. Relationships and authenticity can help develop your journey along the path.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
Soul has had numerous music educational opportunities by attending performing Arts Schools In his early years at Lavilla School of Arts, Douglas Anderson School of Arts, and Berklee College of Music. Soul has been fortunate enough to have private lessons and attend master classes with some of the world’s greatest musicians. But most importantly building and maintaining relationships with some of the Greats such as The late Smooth Jazz Guitarist Nick Colionne, Grammy Nominated Jazz Guitarist Mike Stern & Blues Guitarist Eric Carter. Those relationships and life experiences have shaped and developed essential qualities and knowledge needed to be successful.
