Meet Sonya Adams

We were lucky to catch up with Sonya Adams recently and have shared our conversation below.

Sonya, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I’ve always been an outspoken and charismatic person. That came very easy for me. It wasn’t until I became an adult when life started to become challenging. You then realize everybody won’t accept or like the things you do. I recognized real quick this is a competitive world and in order to compete you must have confidence and a willingness to learn. I understand my self worth and I don’t take the word no personal. I knew that I must hold myself in high regard in order for others to value who I am and respect what it is I do. So today I hold my head high and allow my confidence to shine because I’m free and not held captive by anyone’s thoughts about who I am

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I would say patience. Consistency and integrity. These elements were very instrumental in the success of Celebrating A Vision. I’ve never wavered on what it is I stood for. My advice would be to seek out experts and do research on your projects. The knowledge you equip yourself with prepares you to be competitive and operate at an exceptional level. Align yourself with people who operate in excellence

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
I would recruit more people and show them how to tap into their life’s purpose. We need more Philanthropists. A man without a vison is a man that’s lost. The goal for me is to inspire and encourage others to be the best version of themselves
