We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rafy Ibrahim. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rafy below.
Rafy, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
By learning more and never give up on myself, also surrounding myself with supportive people who I trust and care for me. Spending time with family and doing things that I do also give me more opportunities to think and creat.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m an actor from Egypt. Moved to the states 11 years ago. And I decided to continue my acting career here by studying acting for film and I finished my masters degree in acting from New York Film Academy.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Being a good listener Being humble and grounded
Knowing my abilities and working on myself
My advice would be, always do your best to be the better you can be, stay humble and nice and give love to everyone even though if you don’t receive it back.
Also, never stop learning and reading and get more information on your career. Meet people and talk and learn from their experience and try to start from where others stopped at to save time and effort.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’d love to meet a lot of filmmakers and people who are willing to work and love to tell stories through movies and plays. They can reach out to me through Facebook or instagram Rafy Ibrahim or email me @ rafy.lafilm@gmail.com
