Meet HUNCHO BRI

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful HUNCHO BRI. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with HUNCHO below.

HUNCHO, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I didn’t always feel this good about myself, confidence isn’t something I just woke up with one day… I used to have very low self esteem and how I was able to build myself up was by dropping my bad habits.. I stopped settling for less, I stopped complaining about what I didn’t have or what I couldn’t do and started accepting my life for what it was, not what I felt it should be. I realized that I am in full control of my life and I can literally be whatever I want to be so even when I don’t feel my best, I still tell myself I’m that girl because I literally am.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I view myself as a creative so I can’t put myself in one category because I’m like a Jack of all trades. My number one focus has been to put myself out there and get my music heard. I have a single out right now called “Decline” and it’s been doing great. I’m really excited about dropping visuals and more music for my supporters to really vibe to and understand me better as an artist. I am also a great writer, it’s one thing to rap or sing but being a songwriter is a whole different ball game, it take a lot of time and dedication and pushing through writers block… but when it all comes together, that’s probably one of the greatest feelings

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
First off, always believe in yourself and I know that’s so cliche but it’s the truth… if you don’t believe you can achieve your goals then there’s no point in even continuing I mean even if you’re not where you want to be yet having that drive and that will to continue will keep you in motion just never give up on yourself. Two, always have an agenda, get a planner and write everything down and plan ahead. Organizing your thoughts and planning ahead daily will help you be more productive. Three, never hate on the next person, always show love.. being jealous or envious won’t help you in the long run, besides if you see someone doing good it’s in your best interest to take notes and learn from them, work smarter not harder

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I am open to connecting with likeminded individuals who are ready to work and be successful together. I want to collab with the best photographers videographers, and creative directors to start with. Follow me on my socials to connect
