We recently connected with Reonda Thompson and have shared our conversation below.
Reonda , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I get resilience from having being knocked down. Time after time I come across road blocks and hardships,. I stop, but I don’t quit.
Starting over, keeping a positive attitude, and friends and loved one’s who push me forward.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Elaborate Expressions is a business I’m actively trying to expand. I’m hoping that more people will find the love for poetry and a need to want to express their love by buying my poetry.
I’m not just selling words
I’m selling love, togetherness, meaning, passion.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1. Patience 2. Practice
3. Love for what you do
If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
The challenge I’m facing is trying to actually get customer support. I currently do not have any clientele built up. It’s discouraging but I’m going to keep trying.
