Pastor Yosef, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
It was only through the Spirit of the One True Living God that my purpose in this life was revealed. My walk since turning my life over to The Most High in 2018 has been one filled with tests, trials, tribulations, losses, gains and revelations. Quite the absolute learning experience and I am truly still learning to this day.
John 21:15-17
When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.
Living completely for the Most High and feeding His sheep is my main purpose in this life. I truly believe only by living for The Most High will you truly know your purpose in this life. What Our Creator created you for and who Our Creator created you to be. Anything outside of His will is not fulfilling His purpose for our lives.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I once was an independent secular hip hop artist from 2001-2014. I left the industry for a few years then I was led back to music in 2017. What was taking place in my life personally led me to living for Our Creator in 2018. Having a deep understanding that my life doesn’t belong to me, but to God, and it’s Him that orders my every step. I really started entrepreneurship in 2015 but things weren’t going as I planned. AS I PLANNED.
So with that being said I knew that my life needed to be in alignment with Our Creator in every aspect of life from personal to business. There are principles which are Our Creator’s principles to live by in my life at all times. Putting Our Creator FIRST even in business is KEY. I was then led by The Most High to start an Independent Gospel Record Label A.N.W.O.(Ain’t No Way Out) Music Group. I became an ordained Pastor in 2022. Bottom line the focus is His Ministry. He gave me a gift through music to bring people back to God, but to also begin a label built on His foundation of truth, love, integrity, and principles. Sharing my testimony through music as a Gospel Recording Artist, and also being in a position to help other independent gospel artist from a Kingdom business aspect. I do apply what I learned as an independent artist and the most important part I learned is that music is 90% business and 10% music. As I said before though the KEY to it all is truly surrendering all of self to The Most High and letting Him lead and He opens the doors of opportunity for us.
My walk with Our Creator led me to create an album named ‘The Transformation’ about my personal journey in life before, and after my walk with God. Coming from the scripture…
Romans 12:2(KJV)
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Our Creator’s process brought me to the point of unlearning all I had learned previously to learning the ways of God. His will His way. In doing this in personal and in business things were being brought into His perfect alignment and still it continues.
The Transformation still continues, and the process of making this album is so exciting because as things change, progress, in my life it brings about new material to write. So everything by the Spirit of the Lord I write continues to be relevant and up to date with my life events but also The Lord’s Teachings.
The album is currently in progress…release date TBA 2023.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Obedience, being persistent, and being intentional.
Again as a believer of The Most High being OBEDIENT to the will of God will take you further than you ever can. As the word of God states in Isaiah 55:8-9
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
I am a living witness…a walking testimony to God placing destiny helpers, and providing everything you need along your path.
Philippians 4:19
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Psalm 121:2
“My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”
Psalms 146:5
“Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God.”
Make sure all your plans are made with God.

And the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
This very magazine interview was no coincidence. On July 28th 2023 as soon as I left the train station to my next assignment, not even 2 minutes after I left I ran across a YouTube message titled ‘Your Train Has Left the Station. Destination Elevation’. Exactly 7 days later I received an email about this magazine interview opportunity. Everything that is needed will be provided by The Most High.

Hands down the Bible. The word of Truth has helped me to understand so much. This verse right here alone will help you breathe a sigh of relief on your journey.
Matthew 6:34
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
This verse here has been the most IMPACTFUL. When you begin to think too far ahead you intend to get ahead of God. This then causes you to want to take control because maybe things aren’t moving fast enough, or your not seeing certain results this, that. and the third. You may also open yourself up to unnecessary feelings of fear, doubt, worry, thinking too far ahead. You have to take it day by day. Always know this
Hebrews 13:5(Amplified)
Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”
Knowing Our Creator is ALWAYS with us gives you a certain level of comfort. We intend to leave Him but He never leaves us. The Most High sent us a helper after the death of the Messiah that lives within us at all times which is the sacred Set-Apart Spirit. Listen, be obedient, and be still when told. The Spirit of the One True Living God never lies.
James 1:19
Remember this, my dear brothers: Let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.
Listen to what the Set Apart is saying, only speak when the Set-Apart Spirit leads you to speak, and keep your emotions under control. Emotions can’t control your life and business though many let it. His will His way. Not my will Lord but only YOUR WILL be done in my life. The greatest relationship you will ever experience and have in this life and for you entrepreneurs out there is the relationship between YOU and The Most High. All will come into His perfect alignment for your life.
