Meet Steve Soule

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Steve Soule. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Steve below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Steve with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Both of my parents worked to instill hard work ethic in me at a very young age, encouraging me to set goals and work to achieve them. Early on those were mostly material things, but as I’ve aged those goals are more oriented around just personal achievement and satisfaction of accomplishment.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
As the owner of small business that offers automotive protective services, we are always looking at new products that can provide true value to our customers. We have aligned our business with the manufacturers of the best products in the industry and with companies who believe as strongly in the customer service aspect as we do. It has always been a priority for us to treat every customer as well as we expect to be treated when we make purchases ourselves. In recent times our biggest growth has been in the ceramic window tint market, especially when we are dealing with a heat wave as stout as we are this year

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
First and foremost is to become a true expert in your field, research and first hand testing knowledge of the products and services offered allow us to convey accurate and concise information to our customers when assisting them with making decisions. Always be honest and treat customers as you would want to be treated in your personal experiences with other businesses. I’m very critical of the work we do. In most cases, if it passes my critical eye the customers will be beyond happy with our work. Strive to be the best that you can possibly be. You may never achieve 100% customer satisfaction, but that should always be the target.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Over the years we have had varying levels of “partnering” with other automotive service shops. Most based upon their outstanding reputation. Much like my business, most well established business are happy to refer their clients to other shops with top notch reputations. Conversely, most shop owners, myself included, would never gamble on referring our clients to an unsafe or unknown business. We have and willl continue to look for this type of partnership opportunities
