Meet Jeniffer Flores

We recently connected with Jeniffer Flores and have shared our conversation below.

Jeniffer, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
I guess I have to thank my mom, she has always reminded me that I could do anything I set myself to. Thanks to her I believe I’m capable, and because of that, I’ve had put myself in situations where I have to prove myself and successfully done it. I get this optimism in hopes for more. My optimism comes from hoping I will improve myself and hit other goals, each one bigger than the last one. And once in a while looking back at all the progress.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m an actress, I study acting in Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre. I work on film and t.v series but I’m currently enroll in a Film School. I’m interested in learning all areas of the industry and hopefully being able to bring to life my own projects, as a director, writer, actress.

I also own a production studio where I help artists with their Demo reels, headshots, auditions, podcast production. Basically we help with any kind of audio-visual production.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I think the first important skill for me is being organize. For me this is important because it makes your priorities clear, so you know what you need to focus on first.

Once you have your priorities straight, you need to take action to accomplish your goals but the most important part of taking action, is being consistent, no matter how long it take to accomplish your goal, you got to be persistent.

And last but not least, I believe having the ability to let go off what it’s out of your control or what no longer serves you, it’s the key to enjoy the process of achievement. You just accept the timing of things and keeps you in the present.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
My sister, she has been and example and a role model for me. Every time I’ve had a hard time, she always listens to me and gives great advice on how handle this the best way. She’s a strong minded woman, always fights for what she wants and most of the time gets it. She’s just so smart and driven. She is the person who really has helped me grow into the person I am right now.
