Meet Marianna Fiorin

We were lucky to catch up with Marianna Fiorin recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Marianna with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My work ethic is a tribute to the values instilled by my parents and my brother, who works with me. Respecting everyone in the professional realm, clients, and suppliers alike, is the cornerstone of a peaceful heart at the end of the day.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m an Italian architect and interior designer based in NYC, offering comprehensive services from sketches to renderings, from architectural plans to installation. Designing Dreams Worldwide is our company’s mission.
I have a family heritage in the millwork world, as we own a third generation mill in the North East of Italy, DIEGI, specialized in high end custom mill work (www.diegi.com).
Celebrating my passion for marble, I also craft exquisite marble pieces for The Invisible Collection.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, I attribute my path’s unfolding to qualities like perseverance, faith, and unshakable passion. Despite physical setbacks and doubters, I relentlessly pursued my dreams with gratitude. To anyone starting their profession, remember this: Never surrender, keep pushing through even when the road gets tough. The peaks are reached by conquering the hard moments, which are an integral part of the journey.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
‘Ask and it is Given’ is my trusted companion through life’s ups and downs. This beloved book, filled with highlighted passages and notes, serves as a constant reminder of its profound message: You shape your reality, and the Universe is your co-creator. Walking the path with positivity and gratitude truly unlocks the magic.
