There’s no right or wrong way to do entrepreneurship, but to just do it. Focusing back on my childhood and upbringing would be my motivation behind my work ethic. Being raised by a single parent which was my late father (R.I.P Rodney) he was the cornerstone to my magic, the secret ingredient to my passion to always wanting to succeed. Watching his drive and ambition was instilled in me at a very young age.

The basic of my business is educating my community about passive income. Teaching and showing people another way to financial freedom. Assisting with building , managing and running multiple short term rentals/ Air bnb’s, and corporate leasing. All while running a furniture store (Mille Lux Furniture located in Atl, GA )for affordable, contemporary & modern pieces. The most exciting part of what I do is helping other single parents free up time to be more active and available in their children’s lives. Coming from a single parent household, as well as being a single mother myself, this is comfort to my heart knowing I lead, guide and incorporate how to make more income in less time in another family’s household. Also being a successful female in a dominate male business selling & installing furniture, dispatching trucks for on time deliveries is another exciting accomplishment for myself to be proud about. I offer drop-shipping to all 50 states as well as currently container shipments internationally, to countries like Nigeria and Ghana. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I would say my three top quality skills being an entrepreneur is marketing, leadership, and communication and sales and everything else will follow. Why I say marketing because you always have to stay ahead of the competition and trend. Leadership is important because to be successful you have to be able to manage, lead and organize a reliable team. Communication is also a major key when it comes to your customers that connection and trust has to be earned. Once that is built you will acquire a lifetime customer and an associate. The advice I have is just got for it, stay motivated and consistent, continue to educate yourself and be open to learning new ways in your field of business of choice.
