We were lucky to catch up with Ms. Pat recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ms. Pat, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
Keeping creativity alive is like tending to a flame. Feed it with curiosity, fuel it with passion and it will burn brightly in everything you do.
For me, creativity is a dynamic process that requires constant nurturing and continuous effort. It is a journey with highs & lows. Staying creative involves opening up my imagination, fostering inspirations and maintaining a mindset that encourages innovation.
As a Personal Chef, creativity is my main ingredient. It not only allows me to craft exceptional and memorable dishes, but also helps set me apart in this ever evolving culinary climate. With food images, personal chefs and cooking channels available on every media outlet, my creative juices must continuously flow to keep my clients coming back for more.
Whether its Caribbean, Asian, African, Southern or Haitian cuisine, the creativity I display in my dishes is unmatched. I can cook a dish from just about any region. I am a chameleon in the kitchen. My vast range shows my journey of not only where I’ve been but also where I’m headed. In my experimentations with new ingredients, I tell my story and showcase all I have to offer.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
