Meet Runway Cuisine

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Runway Cuisine a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Runway, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Hello my name is Cynthia Pena. I’m a 34 year old mom of three. I am a food content creator. I enjoy cooking for my family and recording content to share my delicious food through my social media platform . Together we’ll explore different recipes one dish at a time. But it wasn’t always like this. I remember growing up in our small 2 bedroom apartment with my two siblings waking up to the smell of dominican cakes being baked, the fried eggs & cebolla for the mangu. Lets not forget the fabuloso for the fresh clean floors & baladas playing on the radio on Saturday mornings was the highlight every weekend in my household. My mother was a baker/great cook. But i never really thought i would be a great cook myself fast foward. It all happened when my significant other and i met. I wanted to cook for him & have him enjoy my food the same way everyone enjoyed my mom’s cooking. For me cooking is more than a skill :, it’s a profound journey of self discovery & purpose. I knew one day ill have my own children that would love to cherish those memories with me. So everything went hand in hand. I started having my trial & errors but none the less i am proud of myself.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
“As a content creator, my primary focus is to present a visual and narrative experience that resonates with my audience. I strive to create content that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also informative and engaging. Whether through recipes, cooking tips, or food stories, I aim to inspire and empower others to explore the world of culinary delights. Additionally, I prioritize building a strong and authentic community, fostering connections with fellow food enthusiasts, and collaborating with like-minded creators and brands that align with my values and vision.”

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three things i must say was the most impactful in my journey was:

(1) creating aesthetically pleasing content.
(2) being resilience bouncing back from challenges and continue to grow & improve.
(3) learning how to record & edit

The advice I have for anyone starting their journey doing content is find your niche, be authentic, consistency is key, stay inspired, seek help when needed & success doesn’t happen overnight..

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes most definitely, im looking foward to partner/collaborate with brands i myself use in my kitchen whether thats cookware, seasonings and much more. I am committed to meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the process. For any collaborations my email info. Is on my Instagram bio.
