My optimism comes from a deep belief in the power of family and the human ability to help others. Optimism is nourished by the idea that, together, we can overcome challenges and create a better world for ourselves and future generations. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on our journey as content creators for the Hispanic community on YouTube, I would highlight the following three qualities, skills and areas of knowledge as the most important: Creativity: Creativity is essential to keeping our content fresh and exciting. It has allowed us to find unique ways to approach topics and keep our audience engaged. For those just starting out, the advice would be to encourage your creativity by exposing yourself to different forms of art and storytelling, and always be willing to try new things.
Effective communication: The ability to communicate our ideas, thoughts and emotions clearly and effectively has been fundamental to connecting with our audience. Working on communication skills, such as public speaking, writing, and video editing, can make a difference. Additionally, listening and responding to audience comments is also a crucial part of online communication.
Adaptability and constant learning: The digital world evolves rapidly, so the ability to adapt to new platforms, algorithms and trends is essential. Throughout our journey, we have been willing to learn from our mistakes and stay updated. Our advice would be to embrace the mindset of constant learning and be willing to experiment and adjust based on changes.
For those who are in the early stages of their journey as a content creator, we recommend that you don’t be afraid to be authentic and share your passions and knowledge. Authenticity resonates with the audience. Also, invest time in understanding your audience, interact with them and listen to their feedback to constantly improve.
It’s also important to remember that success takes time. Don’t be discouraged if the results are not immediate. Continue to focus on your passion and improving your skills, and over time, you will see your audience grow and strengthen. Enjoy the journey and always be open to evolution!

In my journey, my husband has been the main source of support and help. His unwavering support and constant collaboration have been instrumental in overcoming challenges and developing the essential skills, qualities and knowledge we needed to succeed. His emotional support, willingness to work together, and understanding have been invaluable.
In addition to my husband, travel and blogging channels on YouTube, like Bendito Extranjero, have also been a significant source of inspiration and support. These channels have not only provided valuable information about migration and travel, but have also shared real stories of people who have overcome similar obstacles. This inspiration has motivated us and given us ideas on how to face our own challenges and make informed decisions.
In short, both my husband and the travel and blogging channels on YouTube have played complementary but equally important roles in our trip. My husband has been my main pillar of personal support, while travel channels and blogs have provided a valuable source of guidance and motivation on our path to success.
