We were lucky to catch up with Robert Abtahi recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Robert, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic has been shaped primarily by those around me. Both my parents worked and worked very hard. They instilled in me the mantra that regardless of the task at hand, you have to give it your all and you have to take pride in your work.
Today, I apply those skills as a Dallas lawyer. We take pride in handling cases in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton county. We treat all our clients with personal attention and allow them to contact us 24/7 regarding criminal cases. We understand that people need questions answered and in today’s world they need to be able to communicate with their lawyer in the most convenient way possible.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Our Dallas law office focuses on criminal cases in Dallas County but we also have satellite offices in Tarrant County, Collin County and Denton County.
By having a presence throughout north Texas, we are able to handle cases on a variety of issues including but not limited to DWI, possession of marijuana, assault family violence, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful carry of a weapon and many more.
We utilize an amazing system in our office that allow clients to sign up without having to come in person. We offer payment plans to assist our clients and an auto pay function that allows us to focus on trying to get criminal cases dismissed.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I really believe that to be a successful Dallas lawyer then you have to be willing to understand that we are essentially in the service industry. We serve our clients in helping them to get their criminal cases resolved for an affordable price.
This requires focusing on our product, people and process. As a Dallas lawyer, my product is myself and my team. Our people are our clients and our process is the most important ingredient. Making sure we have a process that allows clients to feel comfortable with us handling their criminal case is paramount.
We have a process that allows them to communicate with their lawyer at any time via email, text, phone or message. When people are faced with any type of criminal case then it is inherently a stressful process. We use our skills to relieve that stress so it doesn’t matter if they are facing a DWI or a drug charge, they will rest easy knowing we have a system in place nothing falls through the cracks.
Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
We strive to work with criminal defense clients that have an understanding that you can’t handle a Dallas criminal case by yourself. You can’t rely on the internet to walk you through a criminal case.
You need an experience Dallas criminal defense lawyer to help you with a DWI or any other type of criminal charge. We strive on providing clients the information and tools necessary to help them try to get their case dismissed or get them through the criminal justice system with as little impact on their lives as possible.
