We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jasmin Jackson Williams a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jasmin Jackson, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
I remember and always keep in mind that we are all uniquely beautiful in our own way I never like to be compared to anyone because I realized I am only one of a kind! Replacing Me is Easy to find another one like me just impossible
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
A couple of years have passed since my last interview with you guys and I’m excited to share the great news. I have taken a break from acting in the entertainment business. I focus more on schooling I decided to go back to school and it was the greatest decision I made.
Year 2020 I decided to go back to school for medical assistance. I’ve graduated and completed so much more within the course. Certified phlebotomy technician, Medical assistant as Well as Future Classes to start Soon Summer of 2023!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I believe the top three qualities and skills I’ve been able to keep my focus on for one my son who is always my motivation, I always kept in mind the vision and dream as a mother to just be greater for him! Also I believe in never giving up. I have failed in so many areas, been denied even Turned down, however I never give up! I used to think I was alone because things are never working in my favor, it was then I was learning to be patient. Each day is a new day to keep pushing and never give up
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
#AllSquatsNoShots Will always be My TM and my passion to keep going, I’ve been saying for quite a while I’m ready to collaborate on a few workout videos, put together a fashion show for the clothing line you know just blow the dust off the old box I put back a while ago but I never gave up! Redirection in my personal life cause for a lot of changes! However JazzThaModel89 still In the Mix!! I would love for others to Link up and create great things
