Meet Qua T

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Qua T. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Qua below.

Qua, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
It all comes from everything I’ve made it through, it started from my family and how I was brought up, the good and the bad there has always been a positive outlook. Just learning to understand that my perspective is very important for how I go about my life. It’s a routine I’ve built within.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Right now I’ve been focused on my Podcast and detailing the exact way that I want it to be. It’s another lane I’m willing to explore and get the chance to share social content of me and others. I’d like to talk about topics that define who people are and the reason behind their opinions. I’ve took a step away from the music to express another gem that’s apart of me.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Patience, Perseverance, and Gratitude. I’ve tried to master the three to become a better person through whatever circumstances. If you don’t have certain qualities you could get discouraged with the process. My advice would be to embrace the difficulties that your journey comes with. It’s what separates us from one another. The way that we respond and our attitude towards situations. It takes plenty of practice. You almost have to make a positive outlook a habit to live by.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
Fighting for custody of my daughter has opened my eyes in many ways. I’ve grown so much each day just from my determination to learn and figure out what needs to be done. It’s been my humbling experience during this season. Being a dad comes with so much that I’ve never realized until I had my daughter. It keeps me on my Ps and Qs and gives me a reason to be a better overall man for her sake…definitely parenting brings out the best in us.
