Meet Bauer Wann, Rupa Patel, Eleanor Trinh

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bauer Wann, Rupa Patel, Eleanor Trinh. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Bauer Wann, Rupa Patel, Eleanor Trinh, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
Our optimism is fueled by the strong and supportive partnership we’ve cultivated as co-founders and friends. We are each others’ cheerleader for both small and significant achievements, while also ensuring accountability during challenges.

Part of our bond comes from our shared community, one that values hard work and unwavering conviction. Each small triumph we achieve, like our first sale, reinforces our belief that by staying united and hustling, there are no limits to what we can accomplish.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
GEST, short for inGEST, was formed by three best friends on a mission to create thoughtful supplements that focused on results and innovative form factors. Within the course of a year, we formulated with experts and beta users to create SKINMUNE SIPS, a liquid supplement developed to target skin and immunity. What’s exciting to us is the fact that, even after two years of building GEST, we still see that what we’ve created has no equal in the market.

This affirms that what we are creating has a role to play as the supplements industry continues to progress and innovate. We recognize that our products defy conventional business norms. For instance, we allocate every dollar to research and development, leaving none for marketing but we are organically and steadily establishing our presence in the industry.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
We attribute our success to three key qualities: deep industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and a commitment to learning from mistakes.

As founders, possessing in-depth product and industry expertise is fundamental. It empowers us to confidently promote our product’s unique advantages and champion continuous improvements.

Additionally, successful entrepreneurship is rarely a solo journey. The ability to garner support, leverage others’ knowledge, and work collaboratively is vital. We can’t succeed in a vacuum; drawing on the collective skills and expertise around us is key to building a thriving business.

Lastly, the road to success isn’t without its bumps. Mistakes happen, and plans go awry. What’s crucial is our capacity to adapt and learn from these experiences, turning setbacks into stepping stones for growth.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
We’re actively seeking folks who share our vision and values and are looking to help us spread the word or test our products for feedback. Shoot us a message if you’re interested in creating something exceptional together or just learning more about GEST.
