Meet Pamela Abbott-Mouchou and Lauren Bragg

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Pamela Abbott-Mouchou and Lauren Bragg a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Pamela and Lauren, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.

Here are a few notable ways that we’ve developed our ability to take risks.

First, “rolling the dice” should be a thoughtful process. We recommend embarking on a solid “information gathering” quest so you can understand the full picture of your endeavor. Weighing all pros and cons and enrolling only positive figures/friends for support will help you understand all possible outcomes.

Remember, risk taking means that you are being the architect of change in your life and not a victim of circumstance. There’s an energetic alignment that supports you in whatever you are trying to achieve. That’s why we practice Feng Shui, it’s all about positive change and energy. Trust that the universe is always busily working in your favor.

Something else to consider is that motivation is not something you need to begin a process, but rather a by-product of making a simple decision. Sometimes this is as easy as writing down your goal or risky project to let the universe know that you’re serious. To that end, we’ve developed a proven, seven-step goal setting process that will help you carve out the details of your risky project.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

We are mother/daughter Feng Shui experts. We offer in person and virtual Feng Shui consultations as well as online learning, professional development, workshops and public speaking.

What’s most exciting about our business is that we get to work together as a team to positively transform the lives of our clients. We believe Feng Shui is a practical, powerful natural science/art form that will elevate all areas of your life and help you achieve what’s most meaningful to you.

If you’re interested in learning more about us, check us out on Instagram, our Facebook group, or our website. We’re always posting Feng Shui tips and fun weekend projects, and respond to any questions you might have.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. Recognize and appreciate that everyone has an important voice. 2. Be an architect of change as opposed to being a victim of circumstance.
3. Be careful to not get so caught up in production that you forget to take time to run the business of your business. Write down your goals, create an action plan, set a date. And remember to celebrate your success.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

We are all about collaboration!

In the past, our ideal collaborators have been women who host retreats and events, large companies looking to enhance their employees’ job satisfaction through professional development workshops and individuals who are curious about how Feng Shui can positively change their lives.

We’d love to speak at your next event, connect with your professional development department or visit your home for a private consultation!
