Meet Magaly Rodriguez

We were lucky to catch up with Magaly Rodriguez recently and have shared our conversation below.

Magaly, so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?
Always be your own motivation and do it for yourself

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a content creator, I created content on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and now currently working on my merch.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I’ve learned so much throughout the years who I am and what I am good at. I’ve learned I’m good with creating content, thinking outside the box and learning all about the social media world.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
It would be life experiences, moving to California alone has been one of the biggest challenge in my life because any problems I have I need to solve them myself but it’s also been amazing because I’m growing has I go.
