Meet Jasmine Green

We were lucky to catch up with Jasmine Green recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
My confidence and self-esteem are a reflection of my upbringing and the challenges my family and I have faced. Early on I was shy, timid, and some might say sensitive. But, once I started middle school and as I grew up I began to speak up. I learned that people will always have an opinion or view. However, why would their opinion or view defining me? That is the question that sparked my confidence and self-esteem. My mom always taught me to never want what others have and to always be the person people see when I walk into a room. Show that you are confident and that nothing can faze you. So, I am not fearless and confident.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Jasmine Green Studio brings fit and creativity to fashion while assisting customers in creating custom garments. In addition, we also provide other services like branding and fashion product development. Our current brand project will consist of a 12 piece collection.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The most important qualities in my journey were passion, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. If you are just starting out I think the best thing you can do is have patience with yourself and to not give up, seek out mentors, and always crave knowledge.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I love to collaborate and work with different creatives. I think I am pretty well rounded in my field so it is always great to collaborate and not only give knowledge but receive it as well.I am always looking to collaborate with new artists because I think it is great to continue to collaborate with smaller brands since big brands don’t give us little guys an opportunity to collaborate with them.
