Meet Dante M’$

We recently connected with Dante M’$ and have shared our conversation below.

Dante , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I found my purpose through music. When I was younger music was the only thing that could soothe me and calm me down. I found peace and love studying the lyrics to my favorite songs and knowing every word. The way music makes me feel and the way my music makes others feel lets me know that I have found my purpose! I truly cannot live without it. I wake up everyday knowing that I’m fulfilling my purpose through the music.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My artist name is Dante M’$ and I am a professional recording artist. I’ve been a recording artist since I was 14 years old. What’s so special to me about it is connecting with people and their experiences through my own personal endeavors. Everything I write in my Music is from a real and honest place so when people gravitate and relate it makes me even more motivated to keep going. My brother jahndi Anres and I make real life quality music for the masses. Our journey has been a great one so far. Being able to reach the people and relate to them is our strong suit! We have a total of 4 albums collectively with over 200k streams world wide. As a recording artist and a writer I really try to paint a vivid picture that everyone could see and feel! Our brand is giving people the things they need to hear while making it something they would want to hear!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The 3 qualities and skills that were and still are impactful to my journey is HONESTY, Work ethic and Perseverance! When pursuing a music career it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel especially when you’re an underdog. It’s best to remain honest with yourself , work hard and persevere through the doubt & uncertainty. My best advice is to believe in yourself FIRST ! Don’t allow the glitz and glamour change your perspective on how things are going for you on your journey. Remain humble and work hard! I practice everyday. Another quality would be to be GRATEFUL for everything on your journey. Embrace the good the bad and the ugly! It is a must!

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
There have been plenty of books that have helped me on this journey and the top 2 that I can think of is “ The alchemist “ & “ The way of the superior man” Both books give insight on what happens when you stay disciplined and focused on your goals in life , truly. They have helped me develop a healthy relationship with my mental and the people around me. It’s easy to give up when things don’t go as planned but you have to remain resilient and steadfast on the mission! Obstacles are meant to make you better. We are as good as the challenges that we come up against essentially. Never let a hard time change your vision and never let your circumstances define who you are .
