Carmem, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I am a very curious person . I am always looking around with an eye for new possibilities . I watch videos on YouTube with new techniques for art maker and art documentaries . I also love to go to art galleries and art museums

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a Brazilian born artist living between Michigan and Brazil. I am a psychologist and fine artist . My purpose in life is to help people to unlock the creativity and release stress, using all kind of art media to get the final results . The most exciting in my work is to see people getting better after start to attend my classes . Is also amazing when I have my art show and can see the feelings I can woke up in another with the passion that I do my paintings. I am in Brasil this month to help raise funds for kids with cancer that has no money for the treatment . I think our purpose in this world is to help someone . We all have something to give , if you don’t have money You have a kind word or you can help with physical work .

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think is perseverance,, balance and be humble to understand that you don’t know everything and and be aware that anyone can teach you something new . I learn a lot with my little kids or with old ladies that come to my art classes

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My life has been full of challenges since I moved to USA 22 years ago . A new country new culture and seeing myself starting from the zero a new life without families or friends . My best teatcher was my positive atitude my faith and the power to make challenges become a inspiration and fuel to keep me going on
