We were lucky to catch up with Alicia Cunningham recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alicia , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I keep my creativity alive with music and fashion. I get inspired daily. Sometimes I don’t feel like creating and want to be lazy. I know that’s not my purpose though so I look at stuff that inspires me.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Tune! I’ve been in the music scene since 2017. From hosting my friends events, to starting my own brand. I love music so much and it keeps me going. New events coming up is my Tattoo Party on November 10th at Snookie’s Events and More. More to come in 2024! I’m really excited for what’s to come next.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three qualities that were most impactful for my journey is consistency, positivity, and versatility. I stayed consistent. I stayed true to my vision and what I wanted Tune’s World to be. I’m versatile with the artists and business owners I use for my shows. My advice is to stay true to you and what your vision is because someone might not see what you see but somebody feeling it, I promise. If you early in your music journey or whatever journey you’re on… Keep Going. It’s yours already.
Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The book that has played an important part in development is The Subtle Art of not giving a f*ck by Mark Manson. I read it in like 2015-2016ish and it changed my life. I still care about stuff obviously I’m human.. but certain things I’ve changed my outlook on. I try to laugh and joke about things that go on in my life. I migh cry first but I’ma crack a joke right after.
