We were lucky to catch up with Zavawn Smith recently and have shared our conversation below.
Zavawn, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
I’ve always been an optimistic individual since I was a young man. I’ve always believed things would eventually work out as planned.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a Male model & influencer. I’ve been featured on Rihanna music video “cheers”, season 10 of VH1 “Basketball wives LA. And most recent featured as a model on “WCCO CBS segment “Promoting Black fashionweek MN. In the process of modeling professionally I have manage to get signed to 2 agencies 1 in MN as well as LA. I had my start in influencing with my families business sophisticated ladies & gentlemen boutique est in 2018. Alongside of Male modeling I have work and been mentored by various names in the industry Sharaun B , Sheldon Bailey , Don Benjamin ,Rob $tone , Frankie J, Ashanti , Tinashe , Karueche, journee Smollett , are just the few names to say the least. My content creating and presence on social media has received the attention of many in the industry, the city girls , Sean Bankhead ,jhene aiko , and many others. Social media branding I’ve been mentored by Carlton jmorton who was featured on love is blind season 1 as well as the ” Real housewives of Atlanta.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Humbleness , perseverance , strong foundation. If I have anything to say it would be don’t give up make them see and fe your vision
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
Honestly the most impactful thing my parents did for me was love me when there were times I couldn’t love myself because I didn’t know who I was.my parents wanted all of there children to know we could do anything we put our minds too I’m just glad they never gave up on me
