Meet Sabrina Palazzo

We were lucky to catch up with Sabrina Palazzo recently and have shared our conversation below.

Sabrina, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
I’ve spent the past several years deepening my relationship to me through meditation. Although we can use meditation for a variety of reasons, I meditate to remember. When I meditate, I remember in a profound way that I am not my thoughts. I remember that I am not my body, I remember that I am not what happened to me, I remember that I am infinitely connected to life, to others, to it all. For me, my meditation practices disconnects me from my mind’s doubts and worries, and re-connects me to this internal generator that’s always on, always powerful, and always wise. My optimism comes from within.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
In the Spring of 2020, I lost my dad and father-in-law to Cancer within exactly one month of each other (got married in between), and then found myself unemployed two weeks later. At this point in time, the U.S. had shut down and no one was hiring, so I had nothing else to do but heal.

Within days of losing my dad, I came across the book, “Signs” by Laura Lynne Jackson. It was a book of stories from people who had lost loved ones, and their experiences with signs from the other side… and I read it in one day. I felt so optimistic after reading through hundred’s of other’s experiences with signs, and I was so desperate to connect with my loved ones, that I began my own journey of connecting.

Little did I know that my decision to begin requesting signs, out of desperation to feel my dad’s presence again, was going to be the catalyst for my own spiritual awakening and re-direction of life.

Within the months that followed, I played with meditation in order to request signs. The more signs I received, the deeper into meditation I went. The more I meditated, the more I opened myself up to spiritual experiences. The more spiritual experiences I had, the more curious I got about the nature of the Universe and energetics. The more I dove into energetics, the more I understood the nature of me. The more I dove into my essence, the more I healed.

By the end of that Summer, I had gone from depleted by grief to living fluidly with it, unsure of what my next steps would be to completely trusting the flow of life, and unemployed to unintentionally starting my own business.

It was never my intention to be an entrepreneur. At the beginning, all I wanted to do was share how signs from the other side helped my grief, and how understanding energy helped me heal. This pure intention evolved, grew my social presence tenfold, led me to going back to school to get a certification in spiritual psychology, and introduced me to breathwork- the core of my life’s work.

My intention for my work in the world has always been “to help others come home to themselves”, and every new facet of my business, as it has evolved over time, has been laced with this intention. From signs, to meditation, to breathwork, to coaching, each tool has been delivered to me as a pathway to self-reclamation– for myself, and for others.

Currently, I am a spiritual mentor and wellness entrepreneur, founder of Source Method™ Breathwork. I work with individuals to help them transcend their blocks, re-connect to their Source- re-connect to themselves- and step into their authentic power in ALL areas of life. I’ve found breathwork to be the most potent & efficient modality for doing just that, and my goal is to bring this work forward and positively impact the masses with it.

I run a virtual meditation + breathwork studio called the Source Method Virtual Studio, host virtual and in-person breathwork events, facilitate breathwork in corporate and private settings, and mentor privately in 1:1 settings.

My journey to Now has fostered a deep belief that has changed the fabric of my reality, and the belief is this:

Our greatest assets are nothing that exists outside of us, but instead, are everything that can be found within.

And it is one of my purposes to help others find this truth within themselves too.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
For me, meditation was, and continues to be, the most impactful skill in my personal development journey, my spiritual journey, and my entrepreneurial journey. No matter what you’re working towards, it’s so important to move towards that with a clear mind, as well as with an awareness of your mental landscape.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate” – Carl Jung.

Meditation for me has been the single most critical tool to helping me move towards my goal on the path of least resistance. It has allowed me to develop a relationship with my mind and be better able to discern between fear and intuition.

If you are new to meditation, give yourself grace. Start small and slowly work your way up. This practice is a journey in itself, so begin with the understanding and acceptance that it will take time, but it will also be one of the best things you can do for yourself and your life.

The second most impactful thing on my journey has been a baseline knowledge of human psychology. I’ve found that understanding why I am the way I am, why I react the way I do, respond the way I do, why I believe the thoughts I have etc. has helped me not only give myself grace when experiencing life’s turbulence, but also helped me transcend any challenge I meet faster.

The best way to begin with this is read books. Start with one that sparks interest, and go from there.

Lastly, I’d say having a connection to the unseen has been the most impactful for me on my journey. And I think, in other words, this just means faith. Having faith in something greater than you, in the magic of the universe, in things beyond the analytical mind’s programming, can be so supportive in moving towards your goals. Faith keeps you going when times are hard- it helps you out of the depths of your mind and opens you up to light. I have no recommendation for how to generate this awareness other than follow your intuition…

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
My work is for those feeling the call to dig deeper. It doesn’t matter if you’re spiritual, it doesn’t matter if you’re new to personal growth, or have never done breathwork before. If you are feeling the call to focus on your growth and development, or you’re being nudged to open the doors to your healing, knowing that doing so will positively impact your life, your relationships, your business, your career etc. then this work is for you.

We have a variety of different pathways to go down if you’re feeling the call, and it would be our pleasure to support you.
