Meet Joseph & Danielle Revcat

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Joseph & Danielle Revcat. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Joseph & Danielle below.

Hi Joseph & Danielle , so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?
In a room full of other unicorns, it’s a little awkward when you realize that somehow you grew wings. Now the struggle becomes learning to fly and what to do with your newfound ability. We have had to adapt to a new economy, one in which our clientele is demanding more for their money, and they don’t wish to compromise on quality. We are what is up and coming in the wedding industry. This is a new age of value driven services in the wedding industry and we are here to usher in this new time. By reducing the number of vendors required, we are saving our couples money, time and ultimately stress. Our main directive is to provide as many services as the couple will allow us to. This allows us to focus all our energies on as many aspects of the wedding event as possible, resulting in the wedding day they designed.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
We are a multi service wedding corporation, meaning we provide a plethora of wedding related services to our clients. For example: Floral, Decor, Catering, Bar, Bakery, Coordinating, Planning, Photo Station, Music, etc. The most exciting thing about our corporation is that it is the result of our passions. The most important thing that we would like your readers to know about us is that we are offering a significant discount when they select 3 or more services from us. What’s new for 2023 is that all new clients who bundle 3 or more services will receive 5% off. In terms of expansion we have enlarged our service area from as far north as Santa Barbara to as far south as San Diego County.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Qualities:In the very beginning it was our work ethic that got us started, our problem solving abilities are what kept us going, and our ability to stay focused and organized will undoubtedly keep us moving forward and evolving.

Skills: Anything and Everything related to Floral,Decor and Culinary.

Advice? Do not ask a person who has not done what you are attempting to do if you are able to do it. They will undoubtedly tell you that you can’t because they couldn’t.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
I can reduce that answer to two words and two sentences: Mutual respect. Communication flowing in both directions. The clients must be able to formulate an idea in their head that we are able to create. Lastly, the couple who shares the same vision together for their wedding day. These are the characteristics that make an ideal couple
