Meet LynnQuinEtta James

We recently connected with LynnQuinEtta James and have shared our conversation below.

LynnQuinEtta , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed confidence from looking at other powerful women in my family; Like my mother and my grandmothers. I have been blessed to have amazing women in my life. I remember seeing pictures of my grandmother in Paris when I was a child and that really inspired me.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m a triple threat so I always have something going on.

Right now I have been working with this wonderful company out of Thailand called Memo. I am modeling/ hosting with “Cello Jeans” through them. I do a fashion type show for them a few nights a week. It’s through the TikTok platform and it has been amazing!

I am also the “Cupcake” on the hit show “The Mask Singer”. I do all the promo and commercials for the show as well as appearances on stage.

I was also on the hit show “Winning Time,” season 2, and got to share the screen with many great actors.

I will be featured in this new movie coming out soon called “Rebel Moon,” as well. And have my first big speaking role in this independent feature film called “L.A. Force.”

I always find ways to make my goals happen. I am always thinking of ways to get to them even if the road seems impossible.

If your ship is coming in.. sometimes you have swim out there to get it. I am a go getter!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think having an out going personality is one of my claims to fame. I can move in a room full of “No’s.” Meaning I don’t obsess over one thing, I keep it moving. I have a great ability to be able to let go of things if it is not serving me. Learn to let go.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale.

The book has key points that talk about how the way you think controls everything in your life. You can literally make things happen by thinking positively about it and really believing it. It is amazing and I still use the techniques from this book today.
