Hi Danessa, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Most of my confidence and self esteem in business comes from my repeat clients that are incredibly appreciative of my art, and they keep me motivated to persevere forward.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Being a small business owner in the beginning stages can be overwhelming. You have to learn to navigate and find the best flow that works for you. I tried to never get discouraged and stay motivated forward. Perseverance is incredibly important. The goal is to sharpen your skills artistically, network with other local businesses, build relationships on social media, and stay focused on goals.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
Something I always found helpful when I feel overwhelmed, is remembering that there are times when you need to reground, re-group, and re motivate yourself. This can be something as simple as keeping everything very organized, staying on schedule and on task, writing down worries, stressors, DONT SELF CATASTROPHIZE. Keep yourself motivated and inspired. For me, I believe in Manifestation and Going out into nature to recharge and find clarity, enhance my personal energy. Overtime, the problem solving ability will flow and you will learn from mistakes.
