Hi Lucretia , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
My journey to becoming a Purpose and Relationship Coach has been a deeply personal and significant one for me. I firmly believe that living with intention is a fundamental aspect of our existence, and it’s a conviction that I’ve woven into the very fabric of my work. This commitment is mirrored in the two books I’ve authored, “Finding Purpose Within the Chaos: A 14-Day Journal Workbook” and “Before the Husband: A Seven-Day Devotional for Single Women Pursuing Purpose.”

The quest to discover one’s purpose is a profound journey that should not be taken lightly, as it’s an exploration of our unique roles in this world. I am a strong believer that our individual purposes aren’t just for our own benefit; they are meant to serve others. It starts with desires and our desires are planted within us by God, it’s our responsibility to take action on them.

My own understanding of purpose has evolved throughout the various seasons of my life. In my single season, I was deeply involved in youth ministry, and running my own non-profit business empowering teenagers in the community. I had the privilege of positively impacting the lives of thousands of teenagers in our local community. During this time, I had an unwavering certainty that I was walking in harmony with my purpose.
Concurrently, I was intentionally dating with the hope of finding a life partner, nurturing meaningful relationships with family and friends, and cultivating a deep spiritual connection with Jesus.
As life guided me into the roles of a wife and a mother, my sense of purpose underwent a transformation, and I felt drawn in a different direction. During the initial years of my marriage, I often shared the story of my dating journey, the commitment my husband and I made to maintain purity in our relationship, and the profound role that God played in our lives. My intention was never to boast but to uplift single women who might be on the verge of giving up on their own dating and marriage dreams due to the challenges of the dating scene. Many Christian women were wrestling with these same challenges, and as I grew more comfortable sharing my own story, I felt a deep-seated need to inspire and encourage them. By sharing my experiences openly and online, I aimed to empower others to embark on their individual single journeys with an open heart.

This journey of transparency opened doors for single women from near and far to reach out to me, seeking guidance on navigating difficult relationships, understanding the world of online dating, and making informed decisions about their relationships. In this role, I found a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment.

As a speaker and co-host of the “When Marriage and Purpose Collide Podcast,” I have the privilege of sharing my own journey from dating to marriage. My aim is to offer inspiration and encouragement to single individuals around the world, hoping to bring life and renewed hope to their hearts.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My journey has brought me to a place where I’m deeply passionate about guiding Christian single women on a path to finding love, confidence, and lasting commitment. My heart goes out to the challenges and struggles that many of you face in the complex world of dating. It’s not just about finding a partner; it’s about nurturing your whole being.

I understand the uncertainty you might be feeling about marriage in this season of your life. The pressure to settle down, the ticking of the biological clock, and the discouraging experience of dating can leave you feeling alone, anxious, and even a little hopeless.

You’re going on countless dates, swiping endlessly on dating apps, and yet, it seems like the more you search, the further you get from finding your life partner. The weight of loneliness and the emotional toll it takes on your mental and emotional well-being can be overwhelming. You might even be questioning if marriage is still in the cards for you or if you should simply give up on the idea of finding your forever person.

As your coach and someone who’s walked the path you’re on, I want you to know that there is hope. I’m not your typical dating coach. Yes, I’m here to help you date with confidence, but my approach is about nurturing the complete and incredible woman you are. It’s about making sure you’re not only prepared to invite love into your life but to truly thrive in it.

Can you express your needs and desires effectively? Are you genuinely prepared to embrace the role of a wife? Have you truly undergone the healing you need? Are you embodying the same qualities you’re seeking in your future husband? Could your expectations be set too high? These questions are pivotal aspects of your journey.

That’s why I offer personalized dating strategy sessions, tailored to where you are in your single journey. Whether you’re taking a break, exploring, dating with intention, in an exclusive relationship, or engaged, I’m here to create a plan that’s uniquely yours.

For those of you seeking a deeper transformation, I invite you to join my six-week “Before The Husband Journey” coaching program. In this journey, we’ll explore self-discovery, find clarity, and craft a vision for your future. We’ll clear the clutter and heal the wounds that may be holding you back. You’ll learn to date with intention and purpose, gaining insight from a male perspective. We’ll work on communication skills for relationships, nurture your spiritual growth and purpose, and establish a support system through accountability. Together, we’ll cultivate the mindset of a wife who’s ready for the beautiful journey of marriage.

I’m genuinely excited to offer these resources to empower and uplift you on your path to love, commitment, and a life filled with purpose. Remember, you are not alone on this journey, and there is hope for a brighter future ahead.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
For single ladies who aspire to date with a clear sense of purpose and the intention of one day being in a fulfilling marriage, here are three essential pieces of advice.

Self-Control: Begin practicing self-control now. This means recognizing that there will be sacrifices, managing your emotions, and engaging in healthy, honest conversations. Developing self-control is a crucial foundation that will greatly benefit your future marriage.

Accountability: Surround yourself with the right people who can hold you accountable in various aspects of your life, not just in your relationship. Having a support system that encourages your growth and wellbeing is essential for personal and relational development.

Give Yourself Grace: It’s vital not to be too hard on yourself. Your mistakes or the absence of a ring on your finger should not define your self-worth. Embrace the journey with patience and kindness to yourself, knowing that your worth is not determined by your relationship status.

We’ll explore these principles and go even further, providing you with the guidance and tools you need to navigate the dating world with a strong sense of purpose and the confidence to step into the role of a loving wife.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

I want to introduce you to my ideal client. She’s not just anyone; she’s you, a remarkable single Christian woman. You’ve reached a point where the dating scene has left you feeling exhausted, frustrated, but still holding onto that flicker of hope.

You’re a high-achieving professional woman who knows the value of her time and energy. Waiting has lost its appeal; you’re ready to wait with a purposeful strategy, one that leads you toward the love and commitment you’ve been longing for.

But let’s take it a step further because you deserve a coach who understands you at your core. You’ve been on this journey, you may have been coached before, but now you’re seeking something more. You’re searching for a coach who not only comprehends your path but also shares your unwavering beliefs and values. You want a guide who not only empathizes with your unique perspective but is deeply rooted in Jesus and His principles that shape your world. You understand the value of investing in yourself and putting in the effort behind the scenes to bring you closer to your future husband.

You’re in search of a remarkable Christian man—a high-quality individual who shares your core values. You’re longing for someone who is not only willing to invest emotionally in the relationship but is also committed to finding clarity in his own life.

And what’s equally incredible is your readiness to take on the role of a loving wife. You’re prepared to stand by your future husband’s side as a lifelong partner, someone who not only has the willingness to learn and grow but also possesses the genuine desire to lead in a way that complements your journey.

If this resonates with you, then I’m the person you’ve been seeking all along. Let’s embark on this incredible journey together. Take the first step by scheduling a Free Dating with Clarity Call with me, and together, we can craft a personalized plan of action that will prepare you for your journey towards a loving and purposeful marriage.
