Meet JJ Fox Hatch

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful JJ Fox Hatch. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with JJ below.

JJ , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I got my resilience from my mother, who was an amazing woman of God. She was my best friend that I could come to for anything and she taught how to bounce back and stand strong. She always told me that she didn’t raise quitters and no matter what happens in life and how many times we fall, get up and never give up.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am JJ Fox Hatch and I am a mouthpiece for God. I am the Pastor of WCM The Church and The Walking Club, a life consultant and author. I am also a serial entrepreneur, owning multiple radio and tv networks, including Fox Trap Radio TV and Volgant TV. I am also the founder of the When Sisters Unite Conference, which is dedicated to empower women to move in their God given purpose.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My advice to anyone would be trust your instincts, develop your skill and don’t be afraid of failing. Trusting your instincts means to trust the feeling inside that there is something great in you. Develop your skill by researching, reading and listening. I listened to people that were in the field I was headed towards. I listened to their success and failures and I was eager to learn from others, while developing my own way. I became unafraid of failure. I understood that if I was afraid of failure, then I would not begin. I prayed a lot and even cried a lot, but through it all, I learned. Don’t give up. Don’t stop. Your success is waiting for you.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
If it wasn’t for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I will not be where I am today. He is the One who has taught me every good thing I know and is still teaching me. He is the One who gave me the passion for business, entrepreneurship and ministry. He is the One who gave me the heart and love I have for people today. The next person is my husband, Darryl Hatch Sr. He created a safe place to be me.
