Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
Over the past 12 months, my biggest area of growth has been in understanding the importance of stepping back and giving myself space to breathe and reflect. In the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship, it’s easy to get caught up in the relentless pursuit of solutions and progress. However, I’ve learned that continuously grinding away at problems without taking breaks can lead to burnout and hinder the decision-making process.
I realized that by stepping away, even just for a short while, I am able to clear my mind, gain new perspectives, and approach challenges with a refreshed and more balanced mindset. This shift in approach has been transformative, enabling me to make more thoughtful and well-considered decisions. It’s a practice that has not only positively impacted my work and the growth of Merci Collective but has also contributed significantly to my personal well-being.
