Meet Debbie O’Connor

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Debbie O’Connor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Debbie , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I keep my creativity alive by continually seeking out new experiences or learning to see the same things in a new way.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
A little background- My focus started in Interior Design and has expanded to include other areas of design and Micro-Influencing. While I’ve put in a good 13 years already, I’m really just get started!

I love concepts and bringing visions to life in a way that makes people think or improves the world around me. There is always a bit of art in my favorite projects!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
3 things that were most impactful on my journey were learning to give up control a bit and trust the process, even when it off-roads, perseverance, and choosing to believe that the future will be better than the past or present because I will do what I can to ensure that.

As far as advice for others, everyone’s journey is different. To give general advice is difficult, but I would suggest learning from the past.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m open to collaboration if the right opportunity comes my way. It would have to relate to what I do in some way…
