We recently connected with Rebecca Dziedzic and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Rebecca with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I grew up the oldest of six, so it comes naturally. Also, there were different expectations for those of us who grew up in the 90’s as the desire to work hard, move forward and succeed were part of the culture.

I am the owner of Steadfast Bookkeeping Solutions. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I would have to say that the following would 3 make the top of my list:

Self-starter: See an opportunity and grasp it.

Education: Learning how to start a business, how to develop it from scratch and turn it into something profitable has been life changing for me. Bookkeeping was an ideal business choice due to my background in math, education and finances.

Drive to succeed: I have a strong desire to best serve and provide for my clients and family.

The advice I would give someone early in their journey is if you have a desire to do something, look into it and work hard. Strive to achieve your goals.

How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is a business owner in the service industry who understands the importance of having their business finances in working order. I also enjoy working with clients who are committed to learning how to most efficiently run their businesses.
