Meet Emilio Uribe

We were lucky to catch up with Emilio Uribe recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Emilio , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience from my mother and grandfather they made me a strong hard worker with ethics most important to be a honest men with a true word once I say something I do it and get it done. I also have to say I have something inside me that it’s beyond me something that doesn’t let me give up and make me grounded

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Well I started in the industry the year after 911 am from New York I had graduated from Parsons School of Design as an interior design major I was lucky enough to meet make u artist Dionne Pitikoulis who gave me my first break after that its history I started working for Estefan enterprises owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan, I feel there lots my Godparents because thru them I meet a lot of connections and relationships with producer and other people I no time I was working with Alicia Keys Destiny Child Beyonce Shakira and many more everything in my career its been word of mouth recommendation I think that the best publicity you can have after all that I launched UBe beauty in 2008 been very successful Hi tools and curling irons I no time I transition to the movie industry been a personal to Anjelica Huston Johnny Depp Tom Cruise Olga Kurylenko Jeffrey Dean Morgan Danny Huston and others t name a few. I was able to re launched my line back in 2020 due to my health when I develop lung cancer back in 2015 had t stop my career lost everything but I was able to get back up in my feet in no time

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
First it’s my work ethic Second my word
Third my punctuality

I believe that if you want to develop yourself and be great at what you want to do there are sacrifices you need to make and everything should start to be done with much love and passion that’s what separates you from the bunch so if you are passionate and love what you do you won’t have any issues in achieving your dreams

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
The only obstacle I see now is just to get my product line and the next chapter there’s so much to do but there are things just don’t know and need to figure out to get to the next level
