Meet Michael Ho

We recently connected with Michael Ho and have shared our conversation below.

Michael, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed my confidence from a young age due to the fact my dad was always tough. He taught me lessons at a young age and always told me growing up. “As an Asian American growing up in Long Island, NY in the 1960’s life wasn’t always easy”. My dad endured a lot of bullying, racism, and fear growing up. He always told me as a young boy that he raised me to be strong minded, confident, and resilient. I used to think that my father was giving me a hard time growing up, but it was tough love. That tough love has molded me into the man I am today and has truly made a huge difference in my life up until this point.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Working with family isn’t always easy. As a father son business as Doctors of Chiropractic, I’ve learned so much in the past 4 years with working with my dad. He’s taught me that hard work always pays off. He’s taught me that life isn’t always fair. And he’s taught me to always do the right thing, and never let greed get in the way. I truly love what I do, and feel blessed that I get the chance to learn from my dads past 35 years of experience and to see him on a more daily basis even when life gets busy.

As a Doctor of Chiropractic we deal with the Nervous System and help you sick people get well without the use of prescription drugs and/or unnecessary surgeries. We adjust the spine to help the brain and body communicate at it’s highest level by removing any interferences going on with the disc, nerve, and/or spinal cord. I truly love what I do and have benefited greatly by being under natural Chiropractic Care of entire 32 years of life.

I think it’s such a privilege to share that health doesn’t always have to come from a pill bottle or highly addictive and reliant prescription medications. “The power that made the body heals the body. ”

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
For me personally the 3 most important qualities and/or skills that have made the biggest impact on my life thus far are Consistency, Gratitude, and Grit.

It’s easy to get motivated but its hard to stay disciplined. The bridge between the two is consistency. When you know you have to do something and you do it day in and day out, the results speak volumes. If you can learn how to remain consistent even when you want to make excuses you’ll learn so much from it in a valuable way.

Gratitude is something that I’ve implemented into my life the past 2 years. It really helps open up your mind to what’s exactly in front of you. We all want this, we all want that. Instead of naming all the negative attributes to your life and situation. Sitting back and being grateful for what you have even in tough times will help you stay in a more positive mindset which overflows into your actual life.

Grit means that even when you’ve been knocked down 9 times, you still get up the 10th time. I’ve failed so many times in my life and at times I let those failures control me emotionally. However I always got back up even when life hit me and left me feeling like I’ve hit rock bottom. Grit has gotten me through some of my darkest times, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m always looking to collaborate with like minded individuals on any level. As a primary healthcare provider, athlete, and entrepreneur. I have many different goals that I’d like to meet as many people as I can through this journey we call life. I love to meet people in the healthcare field (MD’s, PT’s, LMT’s, Orthos etc) I think that there’s enough bread for everyone to eat always and love to learn new things. I’d love to create more business marketing relationships along with people who want to level up in general!
