We were lucky to catch up with Miriam Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.
Miriam, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Through my Heavenly Father and my family. God being my rock and foundation. My family being my greatest support. They pray for me and with me daily. My husband Kris always pushes me beyond my limits. He never always me to settle and that’s because that’s what he’s always pushed for himself as well as our son.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
First let me start by saying that I truly enjoy what I do! I started creating 7 months ago not really knowing what I was doing. I just knew that I wanted to have something different for myself and I wanted it to be special. Before I really even began crafting I prayed and asked God to just guide me on what will not only reach the people but something that will also show the world my unique since of style and personality. My brand is called MiUnique Beaded Jewelry a beaded jewelry online store custom in creating unique jewelry designs for both men and women. What I feel is most special about MiUnique is that I can truly be me when creating. Often there will be times when I receive special request orders but the pieces I create off the top of my head are pieces no other person will have and that also shows the world my since of unique style and personality.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My qualities are a since of detail, an eye for what will capture your audience and great listening ear, I’m also very particular in how I do and place things. It truly has to make since to me. Working in Healthcare for 21 years has played a significant role in my paying close attention to details in my line of work. With that being said creating jewelry being something completely different from normally do allows me to create in details. Placing focus on the details is what grabs the attention of your audience.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
My husband Kris who is such a loving and person. He has truly pushed me beyond my norm. Kris tough me that know matter what curve balls or struggles may come your way just know that God got you and so do he.
