Meet Dianna Wacasey

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Dianna Wacasey. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Dianna below.

Dianna, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

Growing up as the eldest of six children in the heart of southern Missouri, my work ethics were essentially forged in the crucible of a bustling household. My parents were the architects of our humble abode, two hardworking individuals who knew the value of a day’s labor. Responsibility wasn’t just a word; it was a way of life. At the tender age when most kids were mastering their ABCs, I was already a pro at juggling household chores, caring for a brood of younger siblings, and tending to an assortment of animals that rivaled Noah’s Ark. Wrangling chickens before breakfast was my version of a morning workout, and believe me, they were formidable opponents.

But it wasn’t just within the walls of our home where I honed my work ethic. I spent considerable time with my grandmother, a true country matriarch with a work ethic that could rival a beehive’s buzz. She wasn’t just about imparting wisdom; she was a hands-on instructor in the school of life. Picture a young me, barely tall enough to reach the kitchen counter, under Grandma’s watchful eye, learning the art of making bread, churning butter like my life depended on it, and preserving the summer harvest by canning foods for the unforgiving winter. It wasn’t just about sustenance; it was a lesson in resilience, resourcefulness, and, let’s be honest, a pinch of humor. After all, nothing teaches you humility, like accidentally mistaking salt for sugar in a batch of cookies.

These experiences etched more than just a work ethic into my DNA; they carved out a philosophy of self-discipline, the unwavering belief that I could tackle any challenge, and the reassuring knowledge that amidst all the chaos, I was surrounded by love. So, as I navigate the complexities of the professional world, I carry with me the lessons from those early morning chicken chases and flour-covered kitchen escapades. Because, in the end, a strong work ethic isn’t just about getting the job done; it’s about infusing every task, no matter how mundane, with a sprinkle of that country-style resilience and a dollop of love.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

At Momo’s Secrets, we believe that the heart of a home lies in the products we use daily. In a world where everyday household cleaning products face constant recalls and health issues like asthma and infertility, both are on the rise, the choices we make for our homes matter more than ever. What sets us apart and excites me the most about Momo’s Secrets is our unwavering commitment to a high standard of quality, pure ingredients, and transparent practices.

Consider this: studies reveal that a staggering 62% of the average home’s daily exposure to harmful chemicals comes from household cleaning products. It’s a startling statistic and hits close to home for us. Momo’s Secrets was born out of necessity when my husband battled severe allergies, and our first grandchild faced a myriad of health issues, including asthma, allergies, and eczema. Today, I’m thrilled and grateful to share that he’s a thriving, healthy 13-year-old. Our journey became a story of transformation, and it fueled our mission to make a difference.

Indoor air pollutants, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), are reported to be two to five times higher than outdoor levels, thanks to household cleaning products, air fresheners, and various cooking activities. We didn’t just want to offer products; we wanted to be a beacon of change. By raising awareness, providing practical solutions, and offering informative resources, Momo’s Secrets has already touched the lives of thousands of households, empowering them with the knowledge to make healthier choices. Our commitment goes beyond just selling products; we’re on a mission to promote conscious consumerism, advocate for safer alternatives, and empower families to impact their well-being and the environment positively. Welcome to Momo’s Secrets, where every choice you make is a step towards a healthier, happier home.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

When I look back at my journey, the three game-changers were top-notch leadership, a keen eye for details, and expertise in chemical toxins and their impact on people and the environment. Being a leader meant motivating and guiding my team for collaborative success. Paying attention to the nitty-gritty details made every project shine. Knowing the ins and outs of chemical toxins made me stand out and guided my decisions that put safety and the environment first.

For those just starting, my advice is to work on leadership skills by leading projects and mentoring others. Get comfortable being detail-oriented because the small stuff matters. Dive deep into your field to stand out as an expert. And always keep that can-do attitude; see challenges as chances to learn and grow. Remember, every small step counts on the road to success.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The book that has truly shaped my journey and growth is the Bible. Its pages have been a guiding light, offering me invaluable lessons at every turn of my life. As I reflect on the wealth of wisdom it holds, a few fundamental principles stand out as the most impactful.

1. Embrace a clear purpose for your journey and make it a habit to reassess and refine it continually.
2. Arm yourself with knowledge and effectively use discretion, recognizing the power of well-informed choices.
3. Navigate life with honesty and straightforwardness. It will pave the way for genuine connections and
authentic living.
4. Provide thoughtful advice and employ practical judgment. These attributes will illuminate how to make sound
decisions and foster meaningful connections.
