We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Keldamuzik a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Keldamuzik, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
I’d say my resilience comes from a deep well of self-belief and determination. I’ve faced many challenges throughout my career, but I’ve always found a way to overcome them. I know that I have the talent and the drive to succeed, and I never give up on my dreams.
I’m also inspired by the people around me, especially my family and friends. They have always been there for me, no matter what. They believe in me, and that belief gives me the strength to keep going.
Finally, I’m a firm believer in the power of positive thinking. I know that my thoughts create my reality, so I focus on staying positive and optimistic. This helps me to stay motivated and focused, even when things are tough.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three qualities that are impactful on my journey are: Resilience: The entertainment industry is a tough one, and it takes a lot of resilience to make it in this business. I’ve faced many rejections and setbacks over the years, but I’ve never given up on my dreams. I always keep moving forward, no matter what obstacles I face.
Advice for developing resilience
Don’t be afraid to fail: Failure is a part of the learning process. Don’t let it discourage you.
Learn from your mistakes: Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Perseverance: It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to make it in the entertainment industry. I’ve always been willing to put in the extra hours to hone my craft and achieve my goals.
Advice for developing perseverance:
Break down your goals into smaller steps: Don’t try to do everything at once. Break down your goals into smaller, more manageable steps.
Celebrate your accomplishments: Take the time to celebrate your successes, no matter how small they may seem. This will help you stay motivated and keep moving forward.
Networking: Networking is essential in the entertainment industry. I’ve made a lot of valuable connections by attending industry events and reaching out to people I admire.
Advice for developing networking skills:
Be genuine: People can spot a fake a mile away. Be yourself and be genuine in your interactions with others.
Be helpful: Offer to help others without expecting anything in return. This will make a good impression and help you build relationships.
After you meet someone, make sure to follow up with them. Keep in touch and let them know what you’re working on.
By developing these qualities, skills, and areas of knowledge, you can increase your chances of success in the entertainment industry. Remember, it takes hard work, dedication, and a little bit of luck. But if you believe in yourself and never give up, you can achieve your dreams.
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
I would say everyone who has ever supported me because I know I could always run to them for help or assistance when needed. Those are the people I know who I can count on for advice.
