Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Princess Eulogia. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Princess, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
Since I was a little girl, I knew that there was more to who I was even though I wasn’t always confident in myself. I spent a lot of time judging and overanalyzing who I thought I was. As I got older, I started to become more acknowledged by individuals that I held in high regard and that slowly started to validate my thoughts and curiosities. At first, I thought I had to “fake it until I make it” until that got too complicated. Now, I’ve learned to appreciate where I am in every moment because going at my own pace allows me to meet, accept, and embrace myself where I am. I know that others can be more afraid of me than I am of them in certain spaces and because I know that God and the universe will only align me with what I am meant to come into contact with, I can be comfortable to be my authentic self in any space that I am put in as long as I know that I am being treated with dignity and respect.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
At the helm of “Mannequins N Motion LLC” stands California native, Mrs. Eulogia ”Princess” Gordon, a trailblazer propelling our firm’s success. Her journey has led her from the Mississippi State Capitol to the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, where she has experienced many notable moments. In March of 2023, she was in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, presiding over the naming ceremony for Prime Minister Ralph E. Gonsalves including statements from the Honorable Zainabu Sesay-Harrell of Sierra Leone. Eulogia is best known for her talent as a celebrity photographer for public figures like Steven “Layzie Bone” Howse, a member of the Grammy Award-winning hip-hop group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and the famous Jackson family. Eulogia’s expertise has been sought after by many industry professionals who trust her to capture and promote their brands and events.
Mrs. Gordon is a certified life coach and a passionate advocate for cultural diversity, community building, and the empowerment of domestic violence survivors. Her commitment to making a positive impact extends to her recently becoming a member of the NAACP and the International Civil Society Working Group (Youth Sub-Committee) for the Permanent Forum of People of African Descent at the United Nations. Eulogia finds strength and motivation as a devoted wife and mother.
Mannequins N Motion will host it’s official launch event on March 10th, 2024 at The Grove LA along with a book signing for client “Garifuna Duchess”, author of “My Spiritual Journey, A Symbiotic Relationship with my Ancestors”.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I was mainly impacted by coming from a strong cultural background, my photography skills, and navigating within the entertainment industry.
Advice: Every opportunity is not a good one. Pay attention to how people treat each other and let that help guide you to make decisions on who to work with and what to work on.
