Tania , thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
Always add value! In most cases, I am the only one in the room that looks like me, however, it is my differences that provides a unique perspective to my client. It seems to be what they like most about working with me. My work ethic is unmatched, I go above and beyond to create solutions and over deliver each time. It doesn’t hurt that I love what I do and it shows in their customer experience but to answer this question, always add value, when you can’t fit in… STAND OUT!!!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the three qualities that I possess that were most impactful in my journey were leadership skills that were instilled into me through my first job, working for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. They taught me to lead myself before I tried to be a leader to others, they taught me to not only see problems but find solutions. This developed my critical thinking skills and my ability to adapt to any situation. They taught me to set goals and not give up on them, even when I did not have the best day. They helped me to reset my mindset. To think like a winner, to believe I deserved the best and that I can only give my best. This helped me throughout my journey and even today. It helps me with my professional goals, my personal goals and it even helps me to effectively build my team.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Well, I consider all of my clients as my partnering brands. It really is a partnership in the grand scheme of things. I am looking to find an entry way to new brands so they can have a cosmetic product to introduce to the market and create a plan for growth customized to them and their business needs, Most of my partnering brands own their formulas and bring them to me to manufacture, however, if they only have an idea, I do have a product development team that can create a formula for them and they have the option to own their formula out right or they can simply only hold manufacturing rights to them.
