We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nickie Jean. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Nickie Jean below.
Hi Nickie Jean, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I would say that probably one of the most important moments in my life was when I fully connected to my purpose, or my Dharma which is what you would call your soul destiny. Once I understood my Dharma I could see how it had been staring at me so powerfully and potently for my whole life. When I was younger I had encounters that created an enormous fear of demons or demon possession, aliens, & alien abduction. As I got older I thought something was wrong with me for these obsessions, but as my story unfolded the more I understood it was my soul showing me my Dharma. Surviving a near death experience from sepsis in my 2o’s is what really seemed to pop things off and catapulted my extra sight into new levels of awareness. My ability to see into the other realms of reality has evolved into my ability to help others and by experiencing the horrors that I have witnessed gave me courage to not fear these moments, and to offer assistance to community. Having others ask for my help and to share these similar experiences with me has shown that this is not my imagination and it is some thing that is real. I’ve found that my greatest joy in life and my true dharma is for me to be there to help others as they navigate through the awakening and activation process.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am the proud creator of Askanda Natha Mystery School located in Pasadena California. It’s been since 2017 that I have been holding space for in person healing ceremonies and temple initiations for others, and as each year passes, I find that I am falling even more in love with this career path. I host a wide variety of healing modalities ranging from reiki to tantra, kambo, womb healing, and priestess temple arts apprenticeship. Pretty much any sort of healing that you could wish to hold space for there is an outlet at my mystery school for you to use. I even recently received doula education from Bini Birth to be certified with assisting the birthing process. Quantum healing can be applied to pretty much every aspect of our lives, which is why I am so excited to utilize all of the different modalities that I have mastered. You can also experience dark arts defense education and mystery school teachings in my temple, which is offered complimentary with all of my ceremonies.
It has been an honor to walk the priestess path and be of service to community, and I look forward to the next adventure it takes me on. This path has brought me to sacred sites such as Magdala Isreal and the Amazonia jungles of Peru, with many tests and initiations that have forged me in the fire of my dharma and assisted in my own healing journey.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Probably one of the most important, and the one that has been with me the longest on my journey has been dark arts defense from psychic attacks and entities. Since I was a child, I have had some of the most terrifying experiences that used to overwhelm me and shut me down. Because of this, I closed myself off to my sight for quite a while during my teen and in the beginning of my adult years. I am grateful that I have been able to overcome the fear and anxiety that I used to experience during these moments, which has given me a power and a protection that I didn’t have when I was younger. I have made it my goal to share the things that I have learned with others so that they do not have to experience the same terror and the fear that comes with the unknown. By offering my wisdom with others it simultaneously has gifted me the comfort of knowing that I’m not crazy, and that these shared experiences are more real than we would like to think. It is amazing how many other people that I have met who have had the same things happen to them. And if I chose to hide my abilities and gifts from the world, I would never even know that there are others out there just like me. The hope and comfort of community is extremely healing.
Other than my psychic sight, I would say the two other things that have been the most impactful on my journey has been my ability to feel and connect to the quantum energies and elementals. Not only to feel them, but to be able to interact with and manipulate the etheric space. It has been shown to me through many different forms of ceremonial healing that by connecting with them we are able to do miraculous things. I have witnessed healing in my own body, as well as others through accessing this form of prayer and manifesting of reality. It feels good to be free to not hide this part of myself, and to watch others be their own healers and protectors as we are all on this journey of healing together. And ultimately we are our own healers.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I’m feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated, I immediately connect to my breath. Breath is so powerful in the regulation of our entire system. If I am struggling to be able to take deep breaths, I will massage my hands. By massaging your hands you turn on your hand chakras, which allows the energy to flow more fluidly through your body. You will massage the palm of each hand as well as the tip of each fingertip, which will turn on both your hand and finger chakras. This will help to calm your parasympathetic nervous system and your vagus nerve which ends in our stomach. When we are stressed, the vagus nerve tightens at the bottom, and we can’t breathe into our lower belly which in return our lungs cannot fully expand. I’ve noticed when I turn on my hand and finger chakras that I can suddenly take amazing, deep, belly breaths, and it immediately calms me down. Once I am feeling more calm and I can fully utilize my breath, I will begin to focus on breathing deeply in and fully exhaling. When we don’t fully exhale it can be just as damaging as not being able to fully inhale. As I connect to the breath I begin to give it love and gratitude which also in return immediately shifts the energy and re shapes all the molecules in the body. Gratitude has been shown to effect the water molecules more profoundly than even the frequency of love. Breathing, gratitude, and love are my go to when I’m feeling stressed out.
