Meet Ethan Klein

We recently connected with Ethan Klein and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Ethan, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
I used to get bullied online, with people making fun of me. However, I found resilience in creating content, maintaining the mindset of persevering, and not taking it personally. Over the past 10 years, I’ve been a content creator, consistently putting myself out there, showing up, and presenting what I’m doing or who I am in front of the camera. One skill I had to acquire was filming vertical videos directly from my phone. Initially, it felt strange, but I eventually got the hang of it. I want to express my gratitude to those who have been with me on this journey as a content creator.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Hello, I am Ethan from Los Angeles, California. I am 21 years old and going to college for a marketing communications degree with the intention of working in the social media field. I have been in the social media industry for about 10 years and have been working on many pieces of content. My daily life consists of attending classes and collaborating with many brands and creators.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
In my journey of content creation, I had to develop skills such as learning how to connect with people, identifying those who are genuine and true to themselves, and understanding how to be kind to one another on a social media platform. Additionally, it involves practicing self-love and affirming to oneself that they can achieve their goals.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
When I feel overwhelmed, I take a step back and engage in activities that bring me joy, such as spending time with family or meeting people in real life.
