We were lucky to catch up with Madison Thomas recently and have shared our conversation below.
Madison, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
In times where I find it difficult to gather ideas, I do absolutely nothing. Although this Sound strange, there is truth and beauty in doing nothing and being more in tune with your own life and experiences to keep creating alive. I never like creating under pressure unless I’m in the right place and mindset to do so. But there are events that happen than can slow down the creativity and the passion can fade when you face a-little trauma. So Practice self awareness and self love by refreshing the point of view can be vital.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As a singer-songwriter, I’ve always been surrounded by music. It all began in church where I was a singer and drummer for the choir. My mother played the piano, and together, we created beautiful melodies that filled the room with joy. It was there that I discovered my passion for music and the power it has to bring people together. Over the years, I continued to develop my skills and hone my craft. As I grew as an artist and model, I never forgot the lessons I learned in church. I used that experience to fuel my creativity and inspire me to write and perform music that speaks to the soul.
My latest release, “Some Type of Way,” is a reflection of my journey and the experiences that have shaped me into the artist I am today. Written and performed by myself, this song captures the raw emotion and vulnerability that is at the heart of all great music.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As I look back on my journey, I can confidently say that the qualities that have had the most significant impact on my success are patience, authenticity, discernment, and the willingness to take risks. Patience has allowed me to trust the process and avoid rushing into decisions that may not be right for me. It has given me the time and space to carefully evaluate situations before taking action. Authenticity has been a core value that has helped me stay true to myself and make choices that align with my beliefs and values.
Discernment has been invaluable in distinguishing between what is beneficial and what is not. It has allowed me to make wise decisions and avoid wasting time on things that do not contribute to my growth. Lastly, taking risks and being open to new experiences has allowed me to explore new opportunities and expand my horizons.
For those who are just starting their journey, I would highly recommend focusing on developing these qualities. Patience is essential in achieving long-term success, but it takes time to cultivate. Authenticity is key in building genuine relationships and staying true to oneself. Discernment is crucial in making wise decisions and avoiding distractions that do not align with one’s goals. Lastly, taking risks and embracing new experiences is critical in uncovering new opportunities and broadening one’s perspective.
In conclusion, developing these qualities takes time and effort, but they are essential in achieving success and fulfillment in life. By cultivating patience, authenticity, discernment, and the willingness to take risks, individuals can lay a solid foundation for their journey towards their goals and aspirations.
