Courtney Alexandria , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Well I’m a mother of two and after my children my confidence decreased majorly! You know postpartum depression can change a lot, and one day I wasn’t feeling as beautiful as I normally would and it took my daughter saying to me mommy I love you it’s going to be okay and she kissed me , so at that moment I knew she knew I wasn’t myself and etc so I prayed and prayed and asked God to you know help get me out that space and he did . I noticed I started dressing myself up more, doing my makeup, matching the kids and me, and I started pouring into me telling myself I love me, my kids love me, I am somebody, I started complimenting my skin, and I made a huge collage of all my beautiful pictures. So doing all these things helped me gain all my confidence back and I did it for me nobody else because my kids need me and most importantly I need myself .
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Recently I’ve been working on a major project that I don’t want to speak on yet until it’s complete but let’s say it’s definitely something that Us woman , Men and etc will need also it will be beneficial. Aside of that I’m working on bringing back body scrubs and my beauty brand but in a more exclusive professional way, so I’ve been really really busy behind the scenes. Working on all these major projects has had me feeling great and glowing inside because I believe God has now shown me what my purpose is and I’ve battled with that for a minute because I never knew what my actual purpose was and I know it wasn’t just selling lashes lol . Now that I’ve been working on these project and found my purpose I can’t wait to share it with the world . If these project have me feeling jolly inside I can only imagine how it will make people feel and more . However I do recommend all readers to follow my FB and IG because I’ll be announcing the projects soon for 2024.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The reason I say these things because all of these play a major role in how far you’ll get and more it can help open doors to places and people you need to sit with not only that it teaches you.
What I will say to those that are stepping out on faith on whatever journey or business they choose use these skills and qualities and don’t give up you will make mistakes along the way and that’s okay you can’t learn unless you make an mistakes.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
Great question !!! Whew when I’m overwhelmed I usually pray and take a nice warm bubble bath with wine and I talk to God while listening to mind stimulating instrumentals . I also make sure I’m home alone when doing this ! Heck sometimes I cry when it’s needed .
