Tish , thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.
My generosity finds its roots in childhood, where serving on the church usher board ignited a passion for helping others. This spark evolved into a love for volunteer work during my college years, notably as an overnight volunteer at a women’s shelter. The underpinning force behind my acts of generosity is my unwavering faith. From giving away a car to a stranger in need to covering someone’s car repairs anonymously, the joy derived from helping others is unparalleled. While I wish I could do more, each act reflects a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those around me.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As a certified health coach, I’m dedicated to fostering holistic well-being. I manage a free Facebook group providing accountability and a paid membership for those committed to investing in their health. Excitingly, I’m developing supplements and partnering in athleisure. My vision extends beyond fitness – I aim to create a community where women genuinely support one another, a place to “pray and slay” together. I’m driven to enhance holistic wellness, addressing mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects, nurturing the whole woman. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Reflecting on my journey, three impactful qualities were empathy, authentic networking, and a perpetual thirst for learning. My advice for those starting their journey is:

Empathy: Understand others’ perspectives and needs. It fosters meaningful connections and resonates in every endeavor.

Authentic Networking: Build genuine relationships. My unpaid internship at Cube Vision showcased the value of taking chances and demonstrating commitment, leading to a job within a year.

Always Be a Student: Embrace continuous learning. Whether with an MBA or in a new industry, approaching every opportunity as a chance to grow pays off.

And remember, treating everyone with kindness, from valet to celebrity, is a universal currency that can open unexpected doors. Show up passionately, treat people well, and success will follow.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
My ideal client is a reflection of my past self—a dedicated professional juggling numerous roles, perhaps a working mom, wife, and community leader. She’s reached a point of realizing the importance of self-care, understanding that it’s not selfish but a necessity. Tired of YoYo diets and unsustainable plans, she seeks a supportive community without drama or negativity. This woman values faith and wants to be part of a community of Christian women over 40, embracing health, wholeness, and freedom together. It’s about walking alongside each other on a journey guided by faith and mutual encouragement.
