Hi Tyler , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
Staying optimistic in the face of adversity is a powerful tool that can positively impact our lives. Throughout my journey of self-healing and mindfulness, I have delved into the concept of the law of attraction and its influence on our thoughts, actions, and overall well-being. By becoming mindful of every thought and reaction, I started to understand the importance of positivity and its effects on my life. I realized that if I focus on positive thoughts and reactions, positive things will come my way. On the other hand, if I focus on negative thoughts and emotions, I will attract negativity. This is just basic physics and universal law, but you have to understand how to apply it to your life on a much deeper level. It’s also important to understand that there are dualities in life, and my experiences are not fixed. I can shift my mindset from losing to winning instantly by changing my perspective and focusing on the positives.
Overall, my commitment to mindfulness has helped me stay optimistic even during the most challenging times.”
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My name is Tyler Minor and my journey in the creative industry began over 13 years ago. After graduating from college with a design degree, I set out to pursue my passion for fashion by establishing myself as a successful fashion stylist. My work as a stylist garnered attention from various publications worldwide, shining a spotlight on my distinctive style. As time passed, I ventured into entrepreneurship and started my own brand. This allowed me to showcase my unique design aesthetics and create a platform to express my creativity even further. During this period, I had the incredible opportunity to co-create American Paint Hat Co., a brand that has gained recognition both locally and globally. Not only are we excited to provide a one on one hat making experiences, but we also offer packages for large corporate events and private parties.
This year I’ll have also launched a quarterly dance party with my friend Ryan McCorduck. The party is called “Lisp” and its was created to help offer a new and exciting place for the LGBTQ community to gather.
So as I step into this new year, I am elated to dive back into the world of styling. Additionally, at American Paint Hat Co., we are relentlessly working on developing innovative and exciting new products that continue pushing the boundaries.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three things that have helped grow a successful business are:
– Knowing your demographic: Understanding your target audience is crucial for a successful business.
– Being kind to even the worst people.
– Being persistent: Persistence is key when it comes to growing a successful business. It’s important to stay committed, motivated, and adaptable in the face of challenges and setbacks.
