Meet Leah Chambers

We were lucky to catch up with Leah Chambers recently and have shared our conversation below.

Leah, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
My purpose continues to evolve, but at its core, it’s about living authentically, sharing my talents, and contributing positively to those around me. That being said, how I was able to find and connect with my purpose happened in a way I wasn’t expecting.

You know how they say you should look within? Well, I tried doing the exact opposite first. Big mistake. The pressure to have it all figured out weighed on me, and the more I tried to conform to societal expectations, the more I felt disconnected from my true path.

You see, initially, I thought I would find my purpose while pursuing the conventional route. So, there I was, doing the whole adulting thing—college, the “dream” marketing job, the whole shebang. Spoiler alert: I was not living my best life. It turned out I had a knack for doing things I was told to do, not what I actually wanted to do. Go figure.

It took me over a year of living a life and working a job I hated to decide that enough was enough. It became clear that I had strayed from my authentic self, and I couldn’t ignore it. After a lot of soul-searching, I rediscovered what brought me joy, and I made a conscious decision to align my life with my passions—realizing that life is too short to be spent doing things you hate.

None of this happened overnight, despite how reading a short paragraph will have you believe. But, during this process, I learned that my purpose boiled down to experiencing life to the fullest, being unapologetically me, and sharing my gifts with others.

This laid the foundation for my business, a direct manifestation of my rediscovered purpose. By combining my passions with a desire to assist and connect with others, I’ve found fulfillment and meaning in my journey.

So, here I am, living my purpose, doing what I love, and helping others along the way. It’s a bit like finding the last piece of the puzzle and realizing it was right under your nose the whole time.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I was a 97th percentile reading kid who practically lived in a fantasy world, scribbling down stories and winning local contests left and right. Fast forward through the classic “are you going to be a teacher?” question after getting an English degree—literal nightmare. I had this talent for storytelling and persuasive language, but no one handed out a manual for what to do with it. So, I took a detour into the corporate marketing world, only to realize that the tactics there felt as slimy as a used car salesman’s pitch. Not my vibe.

Cue the grand exit from the soul-sucking job, and that’s when I began on my entrepreneurial journey as a copywriter. And I’m downright obsessed with it. I’m a conversion copywriter and email strategist, and I help coaches and course creators sell the products they were born to create. Whether they’re gearing up for a course launch or just need a hand with email sequences, I’m their go-to.

I would love to highlight a conversion copy misconception anyone with a business should know about. Joanna Wiebe, the OG of conversion copy, breaks it down as copy that moves the reader to “yes” using voice of customer data, frameworks, formulas, and proven persuasion techniques.

Basically, if your launch copy is missing the voice of customer data, it’s not the real deal. A lot of people don’t know this, so beware of copywriters claiming the conversion title but skipping step one—the research phase. No research, no high-ticket prices. Period.

What do I love most about copywriting? Collaborating with some seriously awesome people and helping them scale their business while staying true to their voice and vision. The best part? I get to shout from the rooftops that you don’t need to torture yourself in front of the computer for weeks to write your own copy.

My services take things to the next level. I provide full-on launch copy, from your sales page to every single email that needs to hit your audience’s inbox. Need something like a welcome sequence ASAP? Want to revamp your website? Launching a membership? I do all that too.

When I’m not writing, you can find me on Instagram. I’ve got the best community, and I spill the tea on copywriting hacks and tidbits you can start implementing yourself. I would say that pretty much sums up me and my business. I’m living my dream as a copywriter, helping awesome people, and making the copy game a heckuva lot less stressful.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back at my journey, there were three things that made a huge difference: consistency, confidence, and a willingness to learn.

Consistency is a big one. The ability to keep moving forward even when the results aren’t there is so important because you never know what’s working for you behind the scenes. When you first start out, it’s crazy. You’re pouring time and attention into building something, and there are moments when you just want to toss in the towel or show up with the bare minimum. Trust me, I get it. But here’s the deal: in the online business world, you can’t afford to slam on the brakes entirely. It’s like working out; you can’t just stop when you hit a plateau. You have to keep pushing, tweaking, and experimenting until you have that aha moment.

Next is confidence. This one’s a game-changer. The entrepreneurial journey is just as much about self-growth and development as it is about running a business. To find success, you have to trust and believe in yourself and your skills. Confidence doesn’t happen overnight; it’s a slow build. You have to challenge those imposter syndrome thoughts, release negativity, and confidence will follow.

My last piece of advice is this: in the world of digital marketing and copywriting, you have to be a lifelong student. The online world is constantly evolving, and what works for you today might not work tomorrow. Research, hone those skills, and stay ahead of the curve. It’s the secret sauce to staying relevant and producing top-tier work.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely! I’m always on the lookout for incredible humans to collab with. If you’re a coach or a course creator gearing up for a launch, need a hand with email marketing sequences, or have any copy-related project up your sleeve, I’m your girl.
